RENTON, Wash. (AP) — Seattle wide receiver Doug Baldwin said Wednesday that his heated postgame comments following the Seahawks' loss to Dallas were understood by his teammates and he "felt like it needed to be said."
Baldwin said the Seahawks offense "played like crap" in a win over Washington and was bailed out by Wilson's performance when he had 201 yards passing and 122 yards rushing. Baldwin said he was most frustrated there was no improvement from the win over Washington to the loss against Dallas.
"They know I'm going to speak my mind," Baldwin said before Seattle's practice. "And for the most part they know I'm going to be wise with my words. But at the end of the day, I think that if you know me, you know that I do things on purpose. So I felt like it needed to be said."
Baldwin has 16 receptions through five games and is Seattle's second-leading receiver. He said he remains a proponent of being a run-first team and having Seattle's offense rely on Lynch and that there is anxiousness going into Sunday's game against St. Louis after the lackluster performance against the Cowboys,Cheap Wholesale Jerseys.
"It kind of frustrated me that we didn't improve. I'm a big proponent of growth week in and week out," Baldwin said. "Even if you do fail,cheap nfl jerseys outlet, sometimes it is part of growth. NOTES: The Seahawks signed defensive back Steven Terrell to the practice squad and said rookie defensive back Eric Pinkins has returned to practice from the reserved/non-football injury list. Terrell was signed to Seattle's active roster from the practice squad Saturday, played against Dallas and was released Tuesday. Seattle's offense finished with nine first downs and just 206 total yards last Sunday. Marshawn Lynch had only 10 carries and Wilson threw for just 66 yards after the first quarter.
